What is Psychosomatic Therapy?

This is a body-led, presence-based practice that invites you to slow down enough to hear what’s underneath.
We work with the nervous system, not against it.
With your patterns, not to pathologise them — but to understand the wisdom they’ve carried.

We meet in real time. Not in theory.

This is not about insight alone.
It’s about what happens in the moments:

  • When you speak your truth and someone stays

  • When your body softens for the first time in weeks

  • When grief or rage moves through and you’re not shamed for it

  • When you surprise yourself with what you feel

Psychosomatic therapy is a reweaving and reconnecting the mind and body to enable a coherent communication between all of our parts, embodied and whole, integrated and at ease with who you truly are.

What might happen in a session

No two sessions are the same. We move at the pace of your body. Not your ideas.
And everything — truly everything — is welcome here. You may experience:

  • Understanding bodily reactions, behavior and their purpose in your life

  • Developing true, embodied compassion for oneself and those around you

  • Building strength to stay centered in the face of triggers and adversity

  • Present-moment awareness: learning to come back to presence when the mind spirals

  • Compassionate Inquiry: gently seeing through the protective patterns

  • Inner child dialogue: meeting parts of you frozen in the past

  • Nervous system education: learning how your biology influences your story

  • Boundary repair + reparenting: exploring how you connect and build healthy attachments

  • Art therapy + subconscious processing: accessing the subconscious safely

  • Parts Work: making space for internal contradiction, not erasing it and building your capacity to be with more of you
