Step into a world where healing + support weaves into every part of your life.
— a compassionate approach to Occupational Therapy that awakens, nurtures and integrates your body, mind and soul in relationship with your surroundings.
Holistic Occupational Therapy services will support you in achieving your goals, overcoming challenges, regulating your nervous system and optimising your overall well-being beyond contemporary models of health.
Why Holistic OT?
Holistic Occupational Therapy recognises the interconnectedness of mind, body, spirit and environment in promoting health and wellness.
Did you know that historically, Occupational Therapy was designed to support trauma recovery after world war 1? They did this through Indigenous practices of basket weaving and circle work, supporting veterans to re-connect and find meaning and purpose in the process/ journey of life.
The modern health industry has minimised the approach of OT to addressing only daily functional needs, missing an integral aspect of healing that goes beyond the ‘doing’ and enables a sense of purpose and belonging in the world.
Drawing on principles of occupational therapy, holistic healing, mindfulness, and somatic psychotherapy and trauma recovery, Holistic OT focuses on the inside out approach, supporting you to navigate emotions and stressors with ease, and engage in meaningful activities and roles that resonate with your deepest essence, that are essential to your daily growth, connection and enjoyment of life.
I attentively work with and support the whole of you
—mind, body and spirit in relationship to your surroundings—
to leave you empowered and living a fulfilling, connected and meaningful life.

Bini provides Paediatric OT in combination with family support.
In order to create an environment where children flourish in their daily transitions, relationships and self care routines, I believe in first up-skilling parents - as YOU are the child’s first point of support.
Children respect boundaries, strategies and practices when parents are engaged.
Initial appointment is suggested solely between the parent/caregiver and Bini, and can be conducted online.
Further sessions can be facilitated in person in Cootharaba, at the child’s school or within the home on Sunshine Coast.
